Today, Laura, Paddy and Henry discuss how the government is responding to comments from a Tory candidate made at a private event in April, describing the Rwanda policy as ‘crap’. James Sunderland, who’s also a Home Office aide, went on to say the policy will deter migrants from trying to enter the UK by crossing the Channel. Laura’s been talking to the Home Secretary James Cleverly about it on her show. They also discuss an update in the alleged election date betting story.
